The video itself didn&#8217;t strike me as controversial at all, at least against the American cultural values overall. Everybody loves Jesus, nobody wants a preacher telling them what to do, and that&#8217;s all you have to agree with to like the video. The author probably intended more; but you don&#8217;t have to agree with more to share\/like\/tweet\/whatever the video.<\/p>\n<p>I suspect the controversey comes from the vocal minority of the country that&#8217;s convinced that most of the country is just like them and is being oppressed by a tyrannical minority of bad people who are Muslims, Atheists, Humanists, or Democrats.
