\nO God of my righteousness!
\nYou have given me relief
\nwhen I was in distress.
\nBe gracious to me
\nand hear my prayer!<\/p>\n
O men, how long shall my honor
\nBe turned to shame?
\nHow long will you love
\nvain words and seek after lies?<\/p>\n
But know that the Lord has set apart
\nthe godly for himself;
\nthe Lord hears when I call to him.<\/p>\n
Be angry, and do not sin;
\nponder in your own hearts
\non your beds, and be silent.<\/p>\n
Offer right sacrifices,
\nand put your trust in the Lord.<\/p>\n
There are many who say,
\n“Who will show us some good?”
\nLift up the light of your face upon us,
\nO Lord!
\nYou have put more joy in my heart
\nthan they have when their grain
\nand wine abound.<\/p>\n
In peace I will both lie down and sleep;
